Howdy there; I’m Lili Ann. It’s coming to the end of my sophomore year and I have been welcomed onto Citizen One News as a new author. I am overjoyed to be a part of a group where I can open up about topics, ideas, thoughts, and opinions without feeling left out. Citizen One has opened opportunities for me to write about things I enjoy, as well as use photography for my future articles. I can’t imagine what skills I will bring to this group as well as what skills I will be able to learn from it.

This isn’t where I first started writing though. When I was in middle school, I would write countless pages for my essays, as well as write skits and plays for my friends to act out at recess. I then began to write stories on Wattpad but stopped not long after, which brought me to where I am now, an author for Citizen One. Writing and journaling have always been hobbies of mine that allowed me to open up and let go of my feelings, as well as my ideas. I’m happy to be writing again.

I am a very outgoing person with my favorite hobbies portraying the opposite; I enjoy reading, coloring, and writing small stories. I also like to play video games, explore nature, play softball, and skateboard in my free time. I’m not really sure where I want life to take me after high school. I’m pretty positive I want to go to college, but I have so many ideas about what I want to do. I will see where life will take me, but until then, I’m focusing on taking one day at a time.

I will mainly be writing about the Environment & Climate, as well as Science-Related topics. I am also capable of taking pictures for them. I have always been good at learning about these topics, and I will be more than happy to write about them for other local residents to learn about. In this day and age, we have to understand that the environment and the world’s sciences are huge topics that need to be learned about, starting with local issues.
