With Halloween just around the corner, Cloverdale has planned many events to celebrate Halloween. These events include the Chili Fest, the Fall Fest, and of course the classic Trick or Treating. However, there is still some unknown information about these events, and today we have put together a rundown of the Halloween events that take place in Cloverdale.

The Chili Fest

The Chili Fest is a fundraiser event held by the Cloverdale Police Department. It will be on October 30th from 11 am to 6 pm at the Cloverdale Town Hall. Vendors, food, drinks, entertainment, and raffles will all be occurring at the Chili Fest and are the perfect way to kick off your Halloween.

Trick or Treating

A classic way to celebrate Halloween is Trick or Treating and Cloverdale has planned just that. On October 30th from 5 – 8 pm trick or treating will commence with children going from door to door asking for candy. It’s highly recommended for trick or treaters to visit homes with a porch light on as to not disturb any who don’t want to participate.

A common concern with Trick or Treating is with safety and Cloverdale has got you covered. Police patrols will be increased to make sure that children are safe while having fun. Also, the CVFD will be doing a candy check in order to make sure that the candy is not tampered with.

Trunk or Treat

While Trick or Treating is the classic way to celebrate, Cloverdale puts a twist on this event with Trunk or Treating. On October 30th from 5 – 8 pm, there will be a Trunk or Treat held in the Cloverdale High School parking lot. Trunk or treatin g is when children “trick or treat” from cars in the parking lot. This is to increase safety and for kids to easily stock up on delicious candy. For more information see https://citizenonenews.com/blog/a-guide-to-trunk-or-treat/

In conclusion, there are many events happening in Cloverdale to celebrate Halloween. So make sure to mark your calendars and as always, have fun!
