Following our successful pilot program, Citizen One has been busy attempting to raise funding for our Prototype Phase, which expands Citizen One to ten more school districts, and recently completed moving its technical infrastructure to a new hosting environment, as well as making some updates to the current single-bureau infrastructure in preparation for expansion.

In the mean time, we were honored to be featured in an article by Alex Brown on Inside Indiana Business, which also ran in the Indiana Business Journal!

Here is a link to the full article. We continue to seek funding to expand the program from philanthropic organizations and social entrepreneur investors. We have applied for several grants, and are in talks with several philanthropic  organizations as a result of this article. Please share with your network, and if you know of any foundations or grant-making organizations with missions related to news deserts, journalism, media literacy, and related topics, please connect us! Also, if there are socially-minded investors interested in doing well by doing good, we would love to talk!

Thank you for your continued support of Citizen One!
